New Bluebeam Revu Webinar Series to Cover the Basics

January 8, 2013

We’re excited to announce our first webinar series of the New Year, Revu Basics! This series of one-hour tutorials will look at how you can utilize Revu’s core functionality and advanced features, including tracking markups with the Markups List, collaborating on project documents in real time using Bluebeam Studio, and customizing Revu’s interface and markup tools to fit your style or workflow. In addition, each webinar will include a brief overview of additional learning resources available, including customizable training options. This is a great opportunity for all new users still getting familiar with Revu, or for those experienced users looking for a refresher. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in January and February:

Getting Started with Bluebeam® Revu® Webinar Now Available Online

For those of you that missed yesterday’s webinar on Getting Started with Bluebeam Revu, there’s no need to worry. The webinar was recorded and is now available on-demand in Bluebeam University.  This free one-hour course provides an in-depth look at Revu’s user interface and core markup functionality, including how to create customizable markups, save them in Revu’s Tool Chest™ for easy reuse, and then track them in the Markups list. In this session you will also learn about the different ways to compare documents and how to bring your workflows online and connect with project partners globally using Bluebeam Studio™, Revu’s integrated cloud solution. This session is perfect for those of you just getting started with Revu or for those looking for a quick refresher.

Bluebeam Webinar: Build a Real-Time Punch Process

New Webinar with DPR Construction Next Week

October 12, 2012

If you haven’t already, make sure you sign up for the second installment of our Bluebeam Studio webinar series taking place next Tuesday, October 16 at 10AM PT. In this session, DPR Construction will discuss how they reduced their shop drawing review process during the development of a 13-story medical patient tower in Oakland, CA.  Using Studio, the project team was able to perform reviews with remote project team members simultaneously within a 10-12 day window (a process that normally took between 25-30 days) and achieve a 33% schedule savings. Bluebeam eXtreme Conference Recap

In June, Bluebeam held its annual eXtreme Conference at LA Live’s Target Terrace overlooking downtown Los Angeles where we celebrated 10 years of eXtreme Pdfin’.  The event, which experienced a great turnout with attendees coming from all over the U.S, featured an action-packed schedule that included case study presentations from Turner Construction Company and Mortenson Construction, a keynote presentation from Bluebeam President and CEO Richard Lee, the reveal of the Bluebeam Revu iPad app (available in the App Store July 10th), several educational workshops and lots of mingling and networking.

The Associated Builders and Contractors’ EdCon & Expo is taking place next week in San Antonio, Texas and attendees will have not one, but two opportunities to hear Bluebeam share tips and tricks for taking project workflows digital.

Bluebeam Software’s Director of Account Services, Sasha Reed, will be presenting the educational session, “Taking Project Workflows Digital: Tips, Tricks and Tech for Going Paperless,” on Wednesday, April 25th from 2:00 – 3:30pm and Thursday, April 26th from 8:00am – 9:30pm.
