Things to pack for a hike:
- First Aid Kit
- Tablet PC loaded with Bluebeam??
I never thought I’d be blogging about this! My coworker Beth just told me about a conversation she had with a user. She just helped him authorize his license of Bluebeam on his tablet PC – the computer he’s taking with him on his hike from Mexico to Canada.
Nope, that wasn’t a typo. This user is hiking the beautiful Pacific Crest Trail, a “2,650-mile scenic trail that runs from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon and Washington.” I think most serious backpackers would agree hiking this trail in its entirety is the opportunity of a lifetime!
The user explained to Beth that he’s bringing his tablet PC along to store and read books and PDF copies of maps and even his campfire permit. He said he’ll be using Revu for most of his reading needs on the trip.
To our hiking Bluebeam friend – I hope you have an amazing adventure! And to everyone else, remember to keep on PDFin’!
