A new version of Revu, good times with customers, temporary tattoos and jumping out of a building. What a week in fabulous Las Vegas!
Let me explain.
Two weeks ago Bluebeam exhibited at ConExpo/Conagg – a huge construction industry event that literally takes up the entire Las Vegas Convention Center with 2.4 million square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit space. This was Bluebeam’s first appearance at ConExpo, and we showed up in a big way. First, we launched Bluebeam PDF Revu 9 and Revu eXtreme at the show, the latest, fully-loaded version of Revu.
To celebrate, we all inked up, temporarily – that is, with these tattoos:
Next, we debuted a white paper, written by McCarthy Building Companies, that describes how the firm uses Revu to manage documents throughout the life of a project. To launch this white paper, McCarthy representatives joined us in our booth for a special “Ask the Experts” session in which they talked about their digital workflows and answered questions from attendees:
Throughout the show we talked with several attendees about how Revu can be used to electronically share project information – from takeoffs, to bids, to RFIs, and submittals:
We had a great time introducing Bluebeam to new people, and meeting up with current users, some who even came to our booth displaying their Bluebeam pride:
To top it all off, some of the Bluebeam booth staff celebrated the launch of eXtreme in, well a very eXtreme way. Thursday afternoon immediately following the show, they jumped off the top of the Stratosphere! I kept my feet firmly on the ground so I could capture this photographic evidence:
All in all, it was a memorable week! Were you at ConExpo? Share your experience below. And remember, to keep on PDFin’!
