The Iron Men of Bluebeam

by

In June, Peter and Jon of our Engineering team, proved they were outstanding at more than just software coding, when they participated in the Ironman Couer de Lane, Idaho. If you’re not familiar with Ironman races, they start with a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112-mile bike course, and if that’s not enough finish up with a 26.2 mile run. Yup, that’s right, a whole marathon. Wow. I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

Peter is still smiling as he runs the marathon leg of the race. And I couldn’t even make it to the gym today.

Both Peter and Jon managed to finish the race, and in one piece, which is quite a feat in itself! When they returned, we welcomed them back the only way we know how here, by decorating their desks.

Jon is welcomed back tiki style.

Peter eats a well-deserved hearty breakfast after the race. And, in true developer fashion, Star Wars is never far from his mind.

In case you can’t tell, we’re super proud of our Bluebeam Ironmen and look forward to cheering them on at their next race!

Until next time,

Jenn
