To PDF and Beyond at the AIIM Expo

April 1, 2011

One of the many events that Bluebeam attended in March was the AIIM Expo. AIIM is an annual conference in which “business and IT professionals gather to learn about the technologies that are changing the way enterprise information is used to drive business processes, collaboration, knowledge sharing and decision making.” Given that we released Revu 9 and Revu eXtreme the day that AIIM began, it was a great place for us to meet with current Bluebeam users and new contacts, too.

Our message at AIIM was “To PDF and Beyond.” In our booth we showed how our platform technologies, PDF editor Bluebeam PDF Revu, and our advanced technologies – Q for automated PDF publishing and processing, bFX for redlining PDFs stored on remote locations and Bluebeam Studio for real-time collaboration – help firms taking PDF beyond archiving and leverage the format as a document markup, communication and collaboration tool. Our VP of Engineering was in attendance, and he was even featured in this video interview by CMSWire.com about the power of PDF-based workflows.

Overall it was a great place to launch Revu 9 and talk about the future of document-based collaboration for enterprises. Were you at AIIM? If so, share your experience below. And remember, to keep on PDFin’!

See us later this month at the AIIM Expo

March 10, 2011

It’s a busy month for Bluebeam! Not only have we announced that Revu 9 will be launching this month and that we’ll be exhibiting at ConExpo…we’re heading to DC, too!

Bluebeam will be going to PDF and beyond on March 22nd – 24th at the AIIM Expo in booth 1225. AIIM will be a great opportunity see Revu 9 in action, talk with technical members of our team about how Bluebeam Q can automate your enterprise’s PDF-based processes, learn how our bFX protocol can help you tie in Revu’s PDF markup features to online systems, and find out how your organization can use Bluebeam Studio for real-time collaboration.

If you want to go to the show but haven’t registered yet, check out this page. AIIM is offering a free expo hall pass for those who pre-register. We hope to see you there, and remember to keep on PDFin’!
