Greenbuild 2013 Photo Recap

November 26, 2013

Last week Team Bluebeam had a blast at Greenbuild 2013 in Philadelphia, PA. Not only did we enjoy demonstrating how Bluebeam Revu, with its integrated Bluebeam Studio and 3D PDF workflows, can help project teams go paperless, but we also got treated to a rockin’ concert by Jon Bon Jovi! It was too much fun not to share, so here’s a little taste of what went down.

We’re super excited to be in Philadelphia this week for the 2013 Greenbuild Conference and Expo. Most of the team arrived yesterday and took the opportunity to check out some of the fun dining options that Philly has to offer.

This morning, it was off to the Pennsylvania Convention Center to hit the exhibit hall, where we’ll be giving Revu demos, tips and tricks.

Bluebeam in Action at Greenbuild 2012

December 3, 2012

In November, the Bluebeam team ventured to San Francisco for Greenbuild 2012! As a forward-thinking city with green leanings, San Francisco was an ideal host city, making Greenbuild more high-energy and exciting than ever before. Here are shots of some of our favorite show moments:

Bluebeam Takes on Toronto for Greenbuild 2011

October 27, 2011

This year Greenbuild was held a month earlier than normal and in a whole new country – Canada! But that didn’t stop Team Bluebeam from descending upon Toronto to spread the word that Revu makes project communication faster, paperless and green. And, if spreading our paperless message wasn’t enough, we also hosted two “Ask the Expert” events which were lead by some of our favorite users from DPR Construction and McCarthy Building Companies. Here’s a look at some Bluebeam highlights from the show:

Greenbuild 2011 was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the shadows of the CN Tower. I’ve been to the top of it…it’s really, really tall.

Caffeine? Check.

Revu 9 wowed the crowds with its abilities to make project communication digital and paperless.

Representatives from DPR Construction and McCarthy Building Companies joined us in our booth to share how they use Revu.

On Wednesday, October 5th, Nathan from DPR met with attendees to share how the builder uses Revu’s collaboration feature, Studio, to host live shop drawing review meetings with remote project partners.

On Thursday, October 6th, Mike from McCarthy Building Companies shared how they use Bluebeam to manage documentation for entire projects. Check out the white paper and webinar for more details.

All in all, Greenbuild provided us with a great opportunity to say hello to old friends and meet with future Bluebeamers.

Next year, Greenbuild and Bluebeam will journey to the City by the Bay – San Francisco.  Be sure to let us know if you’re attending, and remember to keep on PDFin’!

Greenbuild starts in 3, 2, 1…

September 26, 2011

Get excited… Greenbuild starts next week! If you’re headed to Toronto for the show, which is taking place October 4th – 6th, we hope that you’ll stop by our booth – #4142S – to say “hello!” AND participate in one or both of the “Ask the Expert” events we’re holding. Here are the details:

  • Wednesday, October 5th, DPR Construction will be joining us to discuss how they use Bluebeam Studio to collaboration in real-time and keep their submittal process lean and green.
  • Thursday, October 6th, McCarthy Building Companies will be joining us to discuss how they use Revu to manage documents throughout the life of a project.

Representatives from each company will be available for one-on-one conversations throughout the day, and will be giving various group presentations.

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to meet with some of the industry’s leading building companies, and of course some of your favorite Bluebeamers in the flesh.

For more information about this year’s Greenbuild show, check out their official show website, and remember to keep on PDFin’!

Greenbuild 2010 Recap

December 6, 2010

This year at Greenbuild, Bluebeam Software was on a mission to banish paper from construction projects. Again, we called upon the powers of our superhero, the Mighty Bluebeam, to show green builders the benefits of using PDF versus paper, and to drive home the message that Paperless is Green with the launch of www.paperlessisgreen.com.

The goal of this new microsite and campaign is to help green builders share and celebrate their successes in paperless construction projects. We got a head start at collecting great stories by recording these paperless story videos in our booth. (Tip – Go to www.paperlessisgreen.com to share your own paperless story for a chance to win a Motion Tablet PC with Bluebeam PDF Revu!)

We also had a great time demonstrating Bluebeam PDF Revu’s PDF creation, markup and editing features to Greenbuild attendees. It was so great to see attendees recognize Revu as an end to end solution for digital project communication, for everything from design reviews to RFIs to submittals and punch.

Take a look at our Greenbuild 2010 recap video, and check out some photos on our Facebook page.

Were you at Greenbuild? Tell us about your favorite part of the show. And remember, to keep on PDFin’!

Wow, what a trade show! Last week Team Bluebeam was in Chicago spreading our “Paperless is Green” message at Greenbuild and demonstrating how Bluebeam PDF Revu helps project teams blast paper to PDF. I’ll post a more in-depth recap next week, but for now I thought you would enjoy these photos from the show:

Lots of greenbuilders interested in going paperless.

Tell Fellow Green Builders that Paperless is Green!

November 10, 2010

Next week Bluebeam is heading to the 2010 Greenbuild Conference and Expo in Chicago, and we’ve got some good times planned in our booth, #273. This year at Greenbuild, we’re reaching out to you to help spread the word that “Paperless is Green.”

You see, even though projects aren’t currently awarded green points for going paperless, we believe that eliminating unnecessary paper usage is something to celebrate! So, we’ve launched a new microsite – PaperlessIsGreen.com – where architects, engineers and contractors can read and share paperless success stories. Check out this video for a glimpse of what you’ll see on this site:

Even better – we’ve teamed up with our friends at Motion Computing to offer a special prize pack for sharing paperless stories. Stop by Bluebeam Software’s booth #273 at Greenbuild to tell us your paperless story and record a quick, YouTube style video. You’ll be automatically entered into a contest for a chance to win a cool Motion Tablet PC and seat of Bluebeam PDF Revu.

Not going to Greenbuild? Not a problem. Go to PaperlessIsGreen.com and type out your story, or make your own video and send us the link. Let me know if you have any questions, and remember to keep on PDFin’!

-Karen
