Greenbuild 2010 Recap

December 6, 2010

This year at Greenbuild, Bluebeam Software was on a mission to banish paper from construction projects. Again, we called upon the powers of our superhero, the Mighty Bluebeam, to show green builders the benefits of using PDF versus paper, and to drive home the message that Paperless is Green with the launch of www.paperlessisgreen.com.

The goal of this new microsite and campaign is to help green builders share and celebrate their successes in paperless construction projects. We got a head start at collecting great stories by recording these paperless story videos in our booth. (Tip – Go to www.paperlessisgreen.com to share your own paperless story for a chance to win a Motion Tablet PC with Bluebeam PDF Revu!)

We also had a great time demonstrating Bluebeam PDF Revu’s PDF creation, markup and editing features to Greenbuild attendees. It was so great to see attendees recognize Revu as an end to end solution for digital project communication, for everything from design reviews to RFIs to submittals and punch.

Take a look at our Greenbuild 2010 recap video, and check out some photos on our Facebook page.

A video testimonial from Ecobuild UK

March 22, 2010

Last week I blogged about how my coworkers and Mighty Bluebeam made new friends at Ecobuild UK, a huge green building conference that took place earlier this month. One of these new friends is Anthony George of P.C. Landscapes. Anthony first discovered Bluebeam at last year’s Ecobuild. This year, he stopped by to tell us how much easier it is to create PDFs from AutoCAD and add logos and other markups now that he has Bluebeam. Check it out:
