Medan snickare och murare fick stanna kvar p\u00e5 byggarbetsplatserna skickade byggf\u00f6retagen hem en rad andra medarbetare, fr\u00e5n ingenj\u00f6rer till kalkylatorer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r man nu b\u00f6rjar avbryta s\u00e4kerhets\u00e5tg\u00e4rderna i samband med pandemin vill arbetsgivarna att personalen ska komma tillbaka till kontor och m\u00f6tesrum. Men det \u00e4r inte vad m\u00e5nga av de anst\u00e4llda vill. Enligt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwc.com\/us\/en\/library\/covid-19\/us-remote-work-survey.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">en enk\u00e4t om distansarbete av PwC<\/a>, ett revisions- och r\u00e5dgivningsf\u00f6retag, uppgav omkring 55&nbsp;% av de svarande att de skulle vilja arbeta p\u00e5 distans \u00e5tminstone tre dagar i veckan. Andra enk\u00e4ter visar att <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-06-01\/return-to-office-employees-are-quitting-instead-of-giving-up-work-from-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vissa hellre s\u00e4ger upp sig<\/a> helt och h\u00e5llet \u00e4n \u00e5terg\u00e5r till kontoret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den h\u00e4r friktionen mellan arbetsgivare och anst\u00e4llda har f\u00e5tt vissa arbetstagare att b\u00f6rja leta efter nya jobb, s\u00e4ger Nicole Snelling, Senior Diversity Recruiter p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ryancompanies.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ryan Companies<\/a>, ett nationellt bygg-, utvecklings- och designf\u00f6retag i USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryan l\u00e5ter distansarbetet forts\u00e4tta d\u00e4r det \u00e4r m\u00f6jligt, och Nicole ber\u00e4ttar att hon tr\u00e4ffar arbetss\u00f6kande som vill l\u00e4mna sina nuvarande arbetsgivare f\u00f6r att de inte ens till\u00e5ter ett hybridschema som blandar tid p\u00e5 och utanf\u00f6r kontoret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I en bransch som redan beh\u00f6ver 430&nbsp;000 nya arbetare f\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla j\u00e4mna steg med efterfr\u00e5gan kan de h\u00e4r personalf\u00f6rlusterna bli k\u00e4nnbara, enligt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.org\/News-Media\/News-Releases\/entryid\/18636\/abc-the-construction-industry-needs-to-hire-an-additional-430-000-craft-professionals-in-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">en rapport fr\u00e5n branschorganisationen Associated Builders and Contractors<\/a>. Det \u00e4r det fr\u00e4msta sk\u00e4let till att byggf\u00f6retagen beh\u00f6ver \u00f6verv\u00e4ga att skapa policyer f\u00f6r hybridarbete, \u00e4ven n\u00e4r riskerna med covid-19 f\u00f6rsvinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dDe s\u00e4ger bokstavligen: \u2019Jag vill inte tillbaka. Min nuvarande arbetsgivare tvingar mig, och det k\u00e4nns inte bra just nu\u2019\u201d, s\u00e4ger Nicole Snelling. \u201dDet d\u00e4r k\u00e4nns v\u00e4ldigt mycket som mikrostyrning med tanke p\u00e5 allt som vi har g\u00e5tt igenom med den h\u00e4r pandemin. Vi har klarat att vara sk\u00e4rpta och g\u00f6ra ett bra jobb. F\u00f6retagsledare som inte inser och uppskattar det kommer att f\u00f6rlora dem och vi kommer att vinna dem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tillbaka till baracker och pickuper<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Att till\u00e5ta en hybrid arbetsstyrka \u00e4ven utanf\u00f6r en global h\u00e4lsokris kan kr\u00e4va en attitydf\u00f6r\u00e4ndring hos vissa arbetsgivare som \u00e4r oroliga f\u00f6r produktiviteten eller f\u00f6retagskulturen. Men forskning visar att en stor del av den h\u00e4r oron \u00e4r ogrundad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercer.us\/content\/dam\/mercer\/attachments\/north-america\/us\/us-2020-flex-working-survey-results-infographic.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">enk\u00e4t fr\u00e5n Mercer<\/a> bland n\u00e4stan 800 f\u00f6retag visade det sig att 94&nbsp;% av arbetsgivarna h\u00e5ller med om att produktiviteten har varit of\u00f6r\u00e4ndrad eller h\u00f6gre sedan f\u00f6retagen b\u00f6rjade med distansarbete. Och i en rapport om arbetets framtid efter covid-19 skriver organisationskonsulten <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/~\/media\/mckinsey\/featured%20insights\/future%20of%20organizations\/the%20future%20of%20work%20after%20covid%2019\/mgi_the%20future%20of%20work%20after%20covid-19_report-f.pdf?shouldIndex=false\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">McKinsey<\/a> att anst\u00e4llda i byggbranschen \u00e4gnar 15&nbsp;% till 20&nbsp;% av sin tid \u00e5t uppgifter som skulle kunna utf\u00f6ras p\u00e5 distans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och till sist, \u00e4ven om vissa ledare menar att fysisk n\u00e4rvaro p\u00e5 jobbet leder till spontana samtal kollegor emellan som inte alltid uppst\u00e5r n\u00e4r de jobbar p\u00e5 distans, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/06\/23\/upshot\/remote-work-innovation-office.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">finns det inga starka bevis<\/a> f\u00f6r att s\u00e5dana interaktioner p\u00e5 arbetsplatsen g\u00f6r f\u00f6retagen mer produktiva eller innovativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalkylatorer, schemal\u00e4ggare, projektledare och kontorsadministrat\u00f6rer h\u00f6r till de grupper som enligt experterna skulle kunna arbeta enligt fj\u00e4rr- eller hybridscheman. N\u00e5gra kan beh\u00f6va bes\u00f6ka byggarbetsplatserna d\u00e5 och d\u00e5. Men om de redan tidigare blandade arbete ute p\u00e5 f\u00e4ltet med kontorsarbete finns det inget som s\u00e4ger att det kontoret m\u00e5ste vara bel\u00e4get i f\u00f6retagets lokaler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r vi nu r\u00f6r oss allt mer mot <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.bluebeam.com\/se\/backyard-work-pod\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">distans- och hybridarbete<\/a> ser experterna fler f\u00f6rdelar f\u00f6r arbetsgivarna \u00e4n att de f\u00e5r gladare personal. N\u00e4r de inte l\u00e4ngre \u00e4r bundna till dyra kontorslokaler kan byggf\u00f6retagen l\u00e4gga pengar p\u00e5 IT-ink\u00f6p som f\u00f6renklar distansarbetet och h\u00f6jer effektiviteten p\u00e5 andra s\u00e4tt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Med virtual reality-verktyg kan man till exempel bevaka hur det g\u00e5r med ett projekt fr\u00e5n sin egen dator. Dr\u00f6nare anv\u00e4nds ocks\u00e5 allt oftare f\u00f6r fj\u00e4rrinspektioner och kvalitetskontroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Visa prov p\u00e5 flexibilitet<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Att bygga en arbetsplats d\u00e4r hybridscheman inte bara \u00e4r till\u00e5tna utan till och med v\u00e4lkomna kr\u00e4ver ocks\u00e5 en del m\u00e5lmedveten planering. Det s\u00e4ger Evelyn Lee, Senior Experience Designer p\u00e5 Slack, ett f\u00f6retag som tillhandah\u00e5ller teknik f\u00f6r arbetsplatskommunikation. Hon \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 grundare av <a href=\"https:\/\/practiceofarchitecture.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Practice of Architecture<\/a> som ger arkitektfirmor r\u00e5d i ledningsfr\u00e5gor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teknik som ger alla tillg\u00e5ng till samma verktyg som kontorsarbetarna har \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande. Likas\u00e5 att se till att det g\u00e5r att delta i teamm\u00f6ten b\u00e5de personligen och p\u00e5 distans. F\u00f6retagen m\u00e5ste vara f\u00f6rsiktiga n\u00e4r de skapar sina policyer f\u00f6r hybrid- och distansarbete och se till att de \u00e4r r\u00e4ttvisa och inte ger upphov till diskriminering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mitchellhamline.edu\/biographies\/person\/leanne-fuith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Leanne Fuith<\/a>, docent vid Mitchell Hamline School of Law p\u00e5 Hamline University i Saint Paul, Minnesota och expert p\u00e5 arbetsmarknadslagstiftning, rekommenderar f\u00f6ljande steg:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>T\u00e4nk p\u00e5 j\u00e4mlikheten:<\/strong> Var noga med att se till att policyerna inte p\u00e5verkar en viss kategori anst\u00e4llda negativt, till exempel kvinnor eller etniska minoriteter, s\u00e4ger Leanne. \u00d6verv\u00e4g att anlita en advokat eller HR-expert f\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att policyerna \u00e4r v\u00e4l utformade och f\u00f6ljer g\u00e4llande arbetsmarknadslagar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fundera p\u00e5 arbetsbeskrivningarna:<\/strong> Arbetsansvar \u00e4r ofta flytande, s\u00e4rskilt p\u00e5 sm\u00e5 f\u00f6retag. Leanne rekommenderar att man tar en ordentlig titt p\u00e5 varje roll f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rs\u00e4kra sig om att beskrivningarna st\u00e4mmer. Om arbetsbeskrivningen beskriver uppgifterna som ing\u00e5r i en roll korrekt kan arbetsgivaren identifiera vilka, om n\u00e5gra, delar av arbetet som kan utf\u00f6ras p\u00e5 distans och utforma sina policyer d\u00e4refter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Var konsekvent:<\/strong> Arbetsplatspolicyer som m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r en mer flexibel upplevelse kr\u00e4ver genomt\u00e4nkt kommunikation, s\u00e4ger Leanne. Ledningen m\u00e5ste regelbundet ge en \u00f6verblick \u00f6ver policyer och f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntningar. Cheferna b\u00f6r ta samma budskap och kommunicera det igen till mindre grupper av anst\u00e4llda. Och HR m\u00e5ste s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att de angivna policyerna f\u00f6ljs konsekvent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e5 Ryan r\u00e4knar Nicole Snelling med att m\u00f6ta fler arbetss\u00f6kande som \u00e4r redo att byta till ett f\u00f6retag som v\u00e4rdes\u00e4tter en hybrid arbetsstyrka. Och det \u00e4r inte bara f\u00f6r att de vill slippa pendla, s\u00e4ger hon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Efter att ha \u00f6verlevt en global h\u00e4lsokris har arbetstagarna b\u00f6rjat fundera mer p\u00e5 vad som \u00e4r viktigast f\u00f6r dem, och har d\u00e5 insett att deras nuvarande f\u00f6retag inte l\u00e4ngre passar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dDe inser att v\u00e4rderingarna inte st\u00e4mmer \u00f6verens.
