Han arbetade sedan p\u00e5 ett f\u00f6retag som sysslade med avk\u00e4nning av markfukt i flera \u00e5r innan han blev arbetsledare f\u00f6r underh\u00e5llspersonalen p\u00e5 en lokal landskapsarkitekturfirma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew var till och med under n\u00e4stan ett \u00e5r \u00e4gare till ett eget vattenhanterings- och bevattningsf\u00f6retag. Det var ungef\u00e4r samtidigt som han tog en magisterexamen i f\u00f6retagsekonomi, f\u00f6r att utvidga sina yrkeskunskaper utanf\u00f6r det smala omr\u00e5det bevattningsteknik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men med en liten dotter p\u00e5 v\u00e4g kom Andrew, med viss uppmuntran fr\u00e5n sin gravida fru, fram till att han beh\u00f6vde n\u00e5got mer stabilt \u00e4n egenf\u00f6retagande och b\u00f6rjade d\u00e4rf\u00f6r leta efter ett nytt heltidsjobb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dMin fru hade ett uppriktigt samtal med mig: \u2019Nu ska vi ha barn. \u00c4r det inte dags att du skaffar ett riktigt jobb?\u2019, s\u00e4ger Andrew, som sedan fick ytterligare tv\u00e5 d\u00f6ttrar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hittade Bluebeam<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew hade ett s\u00e4rskilt krav f\u00f6r sitt n\u00e4sta jobb: det m\u00e5ste vara p\u00e5 ett kontor. \u201dEfter att vid det laget ha jobbat ute p\u00e5 f\u00e4ltet i sju \u00e5r var jag tr\u00f6tt p\u00e5 att jobba fr\u00e5n en lastbil\u201d, s\u00e4ger han.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Han st\u00f6tte p\u00e5 ett inl\u00e4gg p\u00e5 LinkedIn med en annons om ett jobb som Account Specialist p\u00e5 Bluebeam. \u00c4ven om han aldrig hade anv\u00e4nt f\u00f6retagets programvara i sitt arbete inom bevattning och landskapsarkitektur, och pendlingsavst\u00e5ndet mellan Orange County och Pasadena f\u00f6rst verkade lite v\u00e4l l\u00e5ngt, s\u00e4ger Andrew att jobbet f\u00e5ngade hans intresse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dJag gillade verkligen att det var ett programvaruf\u00f6retag, och ett ungt s\u00e5dant dessutom, som var verksamt inom arkitekt-, ingenj\u00f6rs- och byggbranschen (AEC), vilket var den bransch jag kom ifr\u00e5n\u201d, s\u00e4ger han. \u201dDessutom handlar det om teknologi som hj\u00e4lper m\u00e4nniskor att g\u00f6ra sina jobb b\u00e4ttre, enklare och snabbare.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faktum \u00e4r att ju mer Andrew l\u00e4rde sig om Revu \u2013 Bluebeams flaggskeppsprogram \u2013 desto mer \u00f6nskade han att han hade k\u00e4nt till det n\u00e4r han jobbade med bevattning. \u201dOj, oj, oj \u2013 det h\u00e4r skulle ha hj\u00e4lpt mig oerh\u00f6rt mycket\u201d, minns han.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dOch sedan n\u00e4r jag var p\u00e5 intervju kunde jag tydligt se f\u00f6retagskulturen p\u00e5 Bluebeam, och den passade mig som handen i handsken\u201d, forts\u00e4tter Andrew. \u201dS\u00e5 jag hoppade p\u00e5 chansen. Som tur var valde de att ge mig jobbet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Personlig service<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrews f\u00f6rsta jobb p\u00e5 Bluebeam, som vid den tidpunkten hade omkring 50 anst\u00e4llda, var enkelt: l\u00e4r dig <a href=\"https:\/\/www.googleadservices.com\/pagead\/aclk?sa=L&amp;ai=DChcSEwiXnJPx4eH5AhW3--MHHZX5A3gYABAGGgJ5bQ&amp;ohost=www.google.com&amp;cid=CAESbOD2r-xGh6ySIyudv5OJgtSKJGx9w4h124sHPR5MyCosWkP0iXMpJTc1PcLrFURYh8T0Sp21DAzcXlg_RHgrCp-aS70VQSpI2fuJhLZZqgdcFEpjhkqxaO1PX3nIU4o5fuJWovlOzS4o2Lka2Q&amp;sig=AOD64_2X5MamFLjxLAVVYwt-zFj1-Xv-1w&amp;q&amp;adurl&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjZ_4jx4eH5AhVykYkEHagvCZAQqyQoAnoECAQQBw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Revu<\/a> och svara i telefonen n\u00e4r kunderna ringer med fr\u00e5gor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew satt vid ett skrivbord bara n\u00e5gra meter fr\u00e5n Bluebeams grundare och d\u00e5varande CEO, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/bluebeamrich\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Richard Lee<\/a>, och hans dagar var som ett roulettespel: n\u00e4r telefonen ringde visste han aldrig vilken typ av kundproblem han skulle m\u00f6ta i andra \u00e4nden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dJag kunde lyfta p\u00e5 luren och s\u00e5 var det ett f\u00f6retag med tusen anv\u00e4ndare\u201d, s\u00e4ger han, \u201deller s\u00e5 var det en kalkylator som inte hade n\u00e5gra anst\u00e4llda alls\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dDet som var s\u00e5 kul med det var att vi fick m\u00f6jlighet att tillbringa tid med m\u00e4nniskor och l\u00f6sa deras problem\u201d, forts\u00e4tter Andrew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det h\u00e4r var det absolut b\u00e4sta s\u00e4ttet att l\u00e4ra sig Revu. \u201dJag l\u00e4rde mig mycket bara p\u00e5 att st\u00e4lla r\u00e4tt fr\u00e5gor och h\u00f6ra vad m\u00e4nniskor h\u00f6ll p\u00e5 med\u201d, s\u00e4ger Andrew. \u201dDet hj\u00e4lpte mig sedan att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 hur de olika hantverken i byggbranschen jobbade och hur deras dagar s\u00e5g ut.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den h\u00e4r strategin med att ge kunderna personligt anpassad service var avsiktlig, f\u00f6rklarar Andrew, och avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r Bluebeams framg\u00e5ng \u2013 som b\u00f6rjade ta fart rej\u00e4lt strax efter att han b\u00f6rjade p\u00e5 f\u00f6retaget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kundvolymerna b\u00f6rjade \u00f6ka, och sedan \u00f6kade de mer och mer. H\u00f6gt st\u00e4llda int\u00e4ktsm\u00e5l uppn\u00e5ddes och \u00f6verskreds \u00e5r efter \u00e5r. Bluebeam bel\u00f6nade sina anst\u00e4llda med inte bara en utan tv\u00e5 resor till Hawaii f\u00f6r att fira framg\u00e5ngarna. \u201dVi kunde ibland fr\u00e5ga oss om allt det h\u00e4r h\u00e4nde tack vare oss, eller trots oss\u201d, skojar Andrew. \u201dDet fanns inget vi kunde g\u00f6ra f\u00f6r att stoppa det. Han blev s\u00e5 sm\u00e5ningom en del av en grupp inom f\u00f6retaget som kallas Technical Account Management. Han fortsatte att ge kunder personligt anpassad hj\u00e4lp med Revu och alla dess funktioner som hela tiden utvecklas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew fick till sist titeln Director of Technical Account Management, d\u00e4r han ansvarade f\u00f6r ett team medarbetare och samarbetade med Bluebeams v\u00e4xande s\u00e4lj- och marknadsf\u00f6ringsapparat medan f\u00f6retaget b\u00f6rjade expandera utanf\u00f6r USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2014, ungef\u00e4r tre \u00e5r efter att Andrew b\u00f6rjade p\u00e5 f\u00f6retaget, k\u00f6ptes Bluebeam upp av <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nemetschek.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nemetschek Group<\/a>, som \u00e4r baserat i M\u00fcnchen, Tyskland. Det \u00e4r en teknologikoncern vars portf\u00f6lj omfattar m\u00e5nga andra programvaruf\u00f6retag s\u00e5v\u00e4l inom som utanf\u00f6r byggbranschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Idag leder Andrew ett nybildat Customer Success-team som i huvudsak forts\u00e4tter att g\u00f6ra det som Andrew har gjort p\u00e5 Bluebeam fr\u00e5n f\u00f6rsta dagen: att hj\u00e4lpa kunder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dDet \u00e4r en lite mer m\u00e5linriktad metod\u201d, s\u00e4ger Andrew. \u201dDet inneb\u00e4r ett lite st\u00f6rre ansvar f\u00f6r respektive kundkonto, men med samma m\u00e5l: att hj\u00e4lpa kunderna att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 vad de f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker uppn\u00e5 och hur de kan uppn\u00e5 det genom anv\u00e4ndarutbildning och anv\u00e4ndarmedvetenhet, och att hj\u00e4lpa dem att bygga upp processer som g\u00f6r att de f\u00e5r ut s\u00e5 mycket som m\u00f6jligt av programmet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Om framtiden:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vad \u00e4r det som g\u00f6r att Andrew stannar kvar p\u00e5 Bluebeam genom all utveckling och alla f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar som det oundvikligen inneb\u00e4r? Under hans tid p\u00e5 f\u00f6retaget har Bluebeam g\u00e5tt fr\u00e5n att vara en nystartad uppstickare ledd av sina grundare som h\u00f6ll p\u00e5 att g\u00f6ra sig ett namn inom den lilla men v\u00e4xande branschen f\u00f6r byggteknologi, till att bli ett globalt storf\u00f6retag som \u00e4gs av en stor, b\u00f6rsnoterad koncern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrews svar \u00e4r enkelt: Bluebeam har alltid investerat i honom, s\u00e5 han forts\u00e4tter g\u00e4rna att investera i Bluebeam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dJag har haft m\u00e5nga chefer som verkligen har tagit mig under sina vingar och hj\u00e4lpt mig att utveckla min karri\u00e4r\u201d, s\u00e4ger Andrew. \u201dS\u00e5 jag har alltid k\u00e4nt att jag har haft stort st\u00f6d av ledningen och f\u00f6retaget som
